September's 2018 HOT Finances & Donation | Humble, Open & Transparent

YUUUP you heard it! Dear Ethiopia is adopting Transformation Church's motto being HOT, which has been defined as
Humble (& Honest), Open, & Transparent!
This means that EVERY month, we will posting how much money is collected every month and how every nickel, dime, and penny is being  spent! Below is August's expenses and detailed notes.

Breakdown of Budget in Ethiopian Birr

• 3 girls x 40 birr (p/meal) x 15 weekdays = $1500 birr
• New Year's Celebration = $1500 birr
• Tutor's Salary ($50USD) = $1,385 birr
• Counselor's Salary ($50USD) = $1,385 birr
• Emabet's Rent = $650 birr
• Mekdes' Rent & Daughter's School Fees = $735 birr

Total Expenses = $7,155.00
Savings = $542.40

* In observation of The Ethiopian New Year on September 11th, the girls will have a party and will be on break for one week. During this time the girls will be given the opportunity for food/meal.

We'd LOVE to offer this opportunity to other girls that are affected by Human Trafficking in Debre Zeyit, and we will once we've secured a consist monthly donation that can support an additional girl's daily lunch ( <$1.50 a meal) and her transportation cost (if needed).
