On November 11, 2017 we held a #CarefreeBlackGirls photoshoot for four girls who were victimized by prostitution. One girl was absent, but she was given her dress as well. The goal of the photoshoot was to take these girls off the streets and give them a break from the brothel. We washed them up, sang some songs, fixed their hair and gave them dresses, and then began the laughter and shooting, capturing the ultimate care free moment. Their mothers are currently or were in prostitution and living in the brothels. Bereket's (in red) mom we fortunately help transitioned out of this lifestyle.
