Dear Ethiopia Donation Letters

Selam, 
I am going on a volunteering internship that will be a life changing experience for myself. I am blessed with the opportunity to serve as part of the “Blessing The Children International” Mission trip/social work internship. I will be traveling to Debre Zeyit, Ethiopia staying in communal housing, for 6-8 weeks from June to July 2014.  While I am there I will be ministering to the children who are in the orphanage, through Bible School, drama, music, teaching English, monthly grain and support distribution, volunteering in the feeding programs at the BCI Academy (breakfast, milk and lunch program), taking the children shopping, making medical trips to Addis Ababa (Ethiopia’s capital) for children who have special medical needs, and handing out special gifts and letters sent from sponsors. Through this I hope to not only win many souls to the Lord Jesus Christ but to provide a better quality of life for those too innocent to provide for their selves.
I already have saved and raised $2,800 of the $5000 fee, however, I need sponsors. This amount includes: round trip flight, insurance, housing and meals, transportation and project funds. Right now I am looking for anyone willing to donate toward this wonderful experience. I realize that this amount is heavy, so any amount that you might be able to give would be greatly appreciated. I have started a blog in which you can visit at DearEthiopia.Tumblr.Com where I have the latest updates concerning my trip and I also feature topics of prayer for the Ethiopia. This blog is user friendly, and I update it with the use of text, photo, videos and presentations. On that link there is also a donation tab where you can choose to donate online. Also on the donation page you may notice reward levels where you can receive Birr (Ethiopian dollar), Souvenirs, and/or the handmade coffee Necklace with your donation! These rewards are totally optional; if you do choose to donate please do not feel pressured to only use those slots. Again, any amount just fine and greatly appreciated. But if you do choose one of these options, be sure to email me ([email protected]) or send a private message on my blog with your address so I can ship it out! If you are sending a check, please make it out to “Camille Whyte-Henry” and in the check memo please write “Dear Ethiopia donation”. I believe that with prayer and God’s help my financial need will be met.
Please pray for me as I prepare for this mission and while I am there. Pray that people will see the love of Jesus Christ our savior, and will be touched in some way.
